About
Not a corporation. One entrepreneur who's done it.
Website Build Co isn't a big agency passing your project to out-of-state or overseas staff who never learn your business. It's me, Matt.
I've spent 25 years starting and running my own small businesses and growing them into seven-figure companies. They hold the #1 spot on Google in their industry, on websites I built.
So you get more than a web developer. We'll talk through your ideas, figure out what will actually bring in customers and decide together how to say it on your site. Then I build it and set up the SEO to get it found.

How we work
What working with us is like.
You talk to the owner
No account managers or handoffs. The person on your kickoff call is the person who builds your site.
Strategy before design
We start with what brings in customers: what you sell, who buys it and what they search. The design follows.
We write every word
You won't get a blank template to fill in. We write your site in plain English, in your voice.
Live in 14 business days
Standard sites launch within 14 business days of purchase, guaranteed, as long as you get back to us along the way.
We work until you're happy
If you don't love it, we keep adjusting it. You work with Matt directly until it's right.
Honest about SEO
We set up everything that helps you get found, and we never promise a ranking no one can guarantee.
Where we work
Rhode Island based, nationwide.
Website Build Co is based in Rhode Island and builds websites for small businesses in all 50 states, working by phone, email and video call.
We build for local service businesses of every kind: contractors and trades, salons, restaurants, shops, studios and more.
